Privacy Policy

Sayso Reel turns your answers to a few questions into a short video for someone you care about. This policy explains what we collect to do that, who processes it, and how to delete it.
What we collect
- Your answers. The text of your answers to the interview questions, and the optional "Directed by" name you add. When you speak an answer, your iPhone turns speech into text on the device; the audio itself is not sent to us.
- An anonymous install ID. A random identifier created on your phone, so the app can show you your own videos. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number, and there are no accounts.
- Purchase confirmation. When you buy a video, Apple sends us a signed confirmation (transaction ID and product). We never see your payment details.
- The videos we make for you, and the still images used to make them.
- Messages you send through the support page or the report button, including an email address if you choose to give one.
We do not use advertising, analytics SDKs or tracking, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.
How we use it
Only to make and deliver your video, to answer your support messages, and to prevent abuse and fraud. Your answers are used as instructions for AI models that draw and animate your video. They are not used to train our own models.
Who processes it
- Google Cloud (United States) hosts our servers and storage, and its Vertex AI models (Veo, Gemini) generate the images and video from your answers. Google processes this data on our behalf under the Google Cloud terms.
- Apple processes your payment.
How long we keep it
We keep your answers and videos so you can watch and download them again. You can delete everything tied to your install at any time in the app (Settings, then Delete my data), or by asking us through the support page. Records of purchases are kept as required for tax and accounting.
Adults only
Sayso Reel is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children. Videos never show children on screen. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we will delete the data.
Your choices and rights
You can delete your data in the app, and you can ask us to access, correct or delete information through the support page. Residents of some states and countries have additional rights; we honor them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
